Our idea
The Career Orientation Course (BO-Parcours for short) is an online collection of mini-games where students can explore different career fields and typical work tools. The BO-Parcours was developed in collaboration with apprentices to provide a practical and authentic insight. The results from the mini-games are presented within a "personality flower" and can be used for further individual career orientation work.

with this idea and the experience gained from many different career orientation projects, Einfach Genial gGmbH launched the mega-project "Digital Escape Room" in 2023 together with students, trainees and companies.
The aim of the two-year project was to jointly develop job-specific content and the recognition of one's own abilities through playful elements in a co-creation process between students, trainees and companies.
Developing new things
In Phase I of the project, trainees initially designed the digital BO-Parcours, in which job-specific content is conveyed, serving as the basis for the upcoming workshops and in-depth co-creation process between them and the students.
Project development
In Phase II, the EG Studio (the game artist and programmer team of Einfach Genial gGmbH) developed the second career orientation tool, "The Mind Dimension," based on the ideas and results of the workshops. In particular, the students actively participated in the development process as testers during this phase, providing diverse feedback.
